THEORY X and THEORY Y

Managers need to control the things for an organization with their colleagues to achieve the targets effectively.
There are two types of managers:
 - THEORY X: Managers who think their workers are LAZY.
 - THEORY Y: Managers who think their workers are GOOD.

These two types relates the managers to colleagues working under them. There can be 4 scenarios:

Lazy Employees and Theory X Managers:
In this case the employees are lazy and correctly so managers thinks the employees are lazy.So the manager will treat the employees in a sense that they are not capable of doing anything which in turn further degrade their performance. This is the dangerous scenario for an organization.

*Good Employees and Theory X Managers:
This case refers to those managers who think their employees are lazy but they are not. This case will lead to demotivating for the employee. There may be a case where employee get frustrated after performing a good task and still not appreciated by his manager.

*Lazy Employees and Theory Y Managers:
This kind of scenario needs a skill of a perfect manager.Knowing the fact about a employee that is not good and still keep boosting him for good work is a task for a manager. This is a real asset for a organization that will create an environment of positivity. The lazy employee will surely improve his productivity after seeing so much of faith of his manager.

*Good Employees and Theory Y Managers:
This kind of scenario will always be a hard working and efficient one.The manager thinks his employees to be good and they indeed are good. This will give best productivity for an organization. The work of the employee will be recognized and awarded. This will boost the confidence of employee. All the challenges will be taken up by the manager and employee.

Studying all the scenarios lead to a conclusion that the managers should be a Theory Y manager which will be beneficial for organization and employee as well.It will create a positivity in the minds of employees towards growth and work.
